Bodily autonomy is the foundation upon which all rights restBodily autonomy is the foundation upon which all human rights rest

Bodily autonomy refers to the right of every human being to exercise self-determination over their own physical body, and holds intrusion of this right as a human rights violation. This applies across many human rights movements, from disability rights to sexual and reproductive rights to trans and sexual orientation rights to issues of physical oppression and slavery.

We at Karuna Counseling remain committed to upholding our long history of affirming self-empowerment, diversity and equal rights for all.
