I believe that empowering people to create health and wellbeing in their lives begins by meeting them right where they are.
Through a relationship built on authentic presence and trust, I help clients understand the patterns in which they feel stuck. As clients learn to attune to a deeper experience of self, they are able to move beyond internal barriers and access their own innate wisdom, compassion and vision.
As a bi-cultural person who has lived in different parts of the country and abroad, I enjoy working with people of all backgrounds. I assist people in navigating a wide range of human experiences such as trauma, loss, abuse, life transitions, addictive behaviors, coming out, relationship conflict, depression, anxiety and existential issues. I offer individual, couple and group therapy.
I draw from multiple therapeutic approaches that together address the many facets of being human. These approaches include relational therapy, somatic experiencing, cognitive-behavioral work, psychodynamic and transpersonal therapy. I also have special training and experience in the use of the creative arts, play therapy, yoga and mindfulness practice. These experiential approaches can enable individuals of all ages to transcend the limitations of logic and language to more fully express and work through the complexity of their personal experience.
